Walkout to the Mohican River and LAUNCH or JUMP RIGHT IN! After sleeping comfortably in our 3 bed, 2 bathroom home with Central Air Conditioning located on 1.22 acres on Wally Rd. Scenic Byway, pick your activity. We have a private backyard with steps leading to the river to launch or load your own canoes, kayaks, or tubes right into the river. (We offer air to inflate your tubes at our home.) There is plenty of river frontage for fishing, swimming, floating, wading, or just watching others play. We even have an outside flushing restroom so you don't have to leave the water for long! We are less than 2 miles from Mohican Adventures and less than 3 miles from the Mohican State Park. It is a nice drive to Amish Country if you are a shopper! After playing in the river for the day, we offer a welcoming fire pit to make s'mores and watch the stars. We offer gas and charcoal grills. Enjoy a nice meal on the spacious "Redneck" deck overhanging the river. We are continuing to block off one or two days before and after a reservation for the safety of our guests as well as ourselves. If we need to continue to extend that, we will. Those of us who clean our properties are fully vaccinated against COVID19. This apartment is a bright and cozy one bedroom/one bathroom space with a fully equipped kitchen on the second floor of a home converted into 3 separate units located on Main Street right in the middle of downtown Loudonville. It is upstairs from another one of our VRBO nightly rentals but has it's own private entrance. As you enter the foyer you ascend 5 steps into the living room which has a large picture window overlooking Main street. In the living room there is a window air conditioner for the summer and an open flame natural gas heater for winter time use only, and HDTV, cable and WIFI. There is a bright eat-in kitchen that is fully equipped. We provide coffee, tea, creamers, sugar. The bathroom has a small shower, sink and toilet. The bedroom has a brand new firm queen bed, high thread count sheets, large closet and large window making the room bright and cozy. Every inch of this space has been freshly painted. New windows with screens installed in 2017 so you can open them for fresh air if you don't like a/c. NO PETS. NO SMOKING/NO VAPING. There is also another one bedroom apartment downstairs (private entrance) so those larger families can stay in the same building. I do expect my guests to do their own dishes and tidy up after themselves. If you're staying in the area for a special event but don't want to drive to and from it, we do have the name of a person who can help but arrangements would have to be made ahead of time.

If you want to be in the heart of Mohican in Loudonville, but want to feel like you are tucked away in the woods, Maray Hills is the place for you. Our 2400 sq. ft. home is available 365 days of the year and for your comfort is fully air conditioned/ central gas heat and has a gas fireplace to cuddle and relax for those colder days/nights. Maray Hills is the first house on Wally Road south of town and sleeps 8 guests in 4 private bedrooms. The home sits on the Mohican River and has over 1000 feet of private riverfront. You can enjoy the campfire in the front yard right on the waterfront. There main dining room and living room area overlooks the river with large full size windows. Many of our guests are amazed at the view and comment on it in our guest memory book. Cardinals and hummingbirds feed daily on the bird feeder outside. We regularly have deer in the yard nibbling on our plants. The main part of the home offers two living areas, a large flat screen SMART TV with wireless internet access. The entire home was recently painted and has newer carpet and tile throughout the home. 4 PRIVATE BEDROOMS BEDROOMS The master bedroom offers a queen bed with two large his/her closets and his/her dressers and a television. The second bedroom offers a double bed with a large closet. The third bedroom offers a queen bed and dresser. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and is in the loft in the A-Frame (described below.) The kitchen is open to the dining room area and has a double sink, gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. The kitchen is stocked with silverwear, dishes, cooking utensils and pots & pans. All you need to worry about is your food. The A-Frame part of the home features a bar area, TV, fireplace with gas logs, a recliner and a double reclining sofa. The full glass door opens to a large wrap around deck. You will definitely feel like you are living in a cabin as the A-Frame is decorated in hunting/fishing décor. The loft area has cool spiral steps with a queen bed that has a view of the river through the large A Frame window. The home has 1 1/2 baths and a full size washer/dryer. The main bathroom has a large soaking tub and a separate shower with seat and a double bowl sink. We provide one set of fresh bath towels for each guest. You may want to bring beach towels for your outside activities. There is a wrap around deck with two areas to sit. The one side of the house has an octagon picnic table and is protected by some shade trees, but still has a great view of the water. The other sitting area has Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. It's a great, relaxing area to watch people enjoy their trip down the river in their canoes and kayaks. There is a charcoal grill and tools for your convenience. You will need to bring your own charcoal. The porch spans the length of the home and is an ideal place to sit and watch the sunrise with a warm cup of coffee or watch lightening bugs sparkle in the evening. The family friendly kitchen has bar seating for a quick breakfast and a full size dining room with seating for 9. The comfy living room is equipped with a TV and DVD player. The den converts to another sleeping area with a futon for two and game room goodies. All linens are included for booked guests. The main floor includes a master bedroom with a queen bed. The second floor bedrooms include 2 twin beds and a queen bed. In the sitting room you will also find an additional futon for a double bed. A pack-n-play with changing table is also available. Adjacent to the kitchen is a walk out deck with a ceiling fan for an extra dining area and a place to relax and watch the sunset. Welcome to Doc's cabin! Doctor Charles Curtis, aka "Doc", was a family physician in Bellville for nearly half a century. The cabin, surrounded by beautiful hickory trees, overlooks the scenic Clear Fork river and is uniquely decorated. It has two spiral staircase, a gas fireplace, a 7 person hot tub, beautiful deck, outdoor fire pit, game room and much more. It's truly a magical place. A stay here is just what the "Doctor" ordered. COVID-19 Cleaning: Our cleaning process between groups has been enhanced per recommendations of the CDC, including disinfection of all high-touch surfaces in household common areas (e.g. tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, etc.). This will be our standard going forward. Riverfront Vacation Home has 4 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms with Central Air Conditioning, located on 1.0 acres on the Wally Road Scenic Byway. Home features sweeping views of the Mohican River from the raised deck. Views of river can also be seen from the Kitchen and Living Room windows, the two downstairs bedrooms, from the back patio and basically any where in the back yard. We are located just 6 miles down river from Mohican Adventures and 7.2 miles from the main entrance to Mohican State Park. Enjoy spending your days by the river or hiking at the park and relaxing evenings around the fire. Outside Amenities: Picnic Table, 12 Camp style chairs to be used throughout the property as you desire. There are two fire pits, on in the patio off the house and one by the river. The firepit by the river does a covered gravel area off the back garage that includes a swing. Cornhole is also provided. The chairs and cornhole game are in stored in the shed under the deck adjacent to the patio. Garage is not for guest use.

Imagine your morning coffee enjoying the peacefulness of the river on our screened in porch. In which later in the day you can have a picnic right on the river. Pleasant hill lake is close by with boating, fishing & swimming. Keep an eye out for Eagles flying down the river or nesting along the river. Kitchen is equipped with Frig, oven, toaster, keurig & regular coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans and all the essentials. You can play corn hole and badminton on the lawn. Go canoeing or Kayaking with one of the local liveries or you can launch your own canoe or kayak right at the cottage and float down the river to Greer landing about 2 hours, you will have to have your own pick up it's a 10 to 15 minute drive down to Greer. Enjoy the beautiful fall foliage of Mohican, the gorge is breathtaking. Full size sleeper sofa is third bed. Please note we do not have internet, although we do have satellite TV and a DVD player with movies, we hope that you will enjoy the company of your family and friends and enjoy nature and your time together. The land upon which the cottage is located was originally populated by Native Americans from the Delaware nation of tribes along with a remnant of the Connecticut Mohegan (Mohican). By the early 1800's as the State of Ohio was being established. European settlers were sold large tracts of land to help develop the new western frontier. Today, Mohican country is known as the outdoor adventure capital of Ohio, escape into the beautiful hills of Ohio. The Mohican area features canoeing, hiking, biking, golf, boating, fishing, zip lining and a host of other outdoor activities. One of the largest Amish communities in the USA is located just 30 minutes east of the cottage. Take a day trip to Amish country to enjoy wonderful shopping, Amish made goods, antiquing, tour an Amish farm, experience Amish Cuisine and take in the breathtaking Ohio Amish countryside. Mohican State Park and the adjacent 4, 525 acre state forest are outstanding in their beauty. The breath taking Gorge, hemlock forest, covered bridge, Lyons Falls and scenic Mohican river offer much to see and explore. Be sure to visit the fall foliage of the gorge and forest, the beauty is amazing. Downtown Loudonville offers quaint shops with items from local artists, try Stella's Ice cream and coffee shop and the Blackfork Bistro for a wonderful lunch, dinner and adult beverage. Dinner at the Copper Mug at Landoll's Mohican Castle is a wonderful fine dining experience, especially outside on the patio, call for reservations. Malabar Farm is the home of Pulitzer prize winning author Louis Bromfield. Visitors can tour the house and working farm with chickens, goats and cattle. The natural features of Malabar farm are representative of the diversity of the glaciated Allegheny Plateau region of Ohio. Lauren Bacall actress and Humphrey Bogart were married at Malabar Farm. Malabar Farm Restaurant is a special treat for lunch or dinner, reservations suggested.
